Description

• You can apply any average of Average category with an added function of Shift. This function allows a ‘Data Shift’ i.e. the data of previous bar (the bar depending on selected shift value) plotted on current bar. For example- if you put Shift value as ‘1’ then the previous day’s data will be plotted in the current bar

Interpretation

• You can thereby compare your other indicators or price line with shifted data
• You can even add negative shift values, but note that only historical data will be shown

Default Parameters Used/Inputs

• Data line- Close line, High line, Open line, Low line or others
• Average Type- Simple, Exponential, Weighted, Triangular, Least Square, Variable, Wilder Smoothing, Zero Lagging
• Average Bars– number of bars on which the selected average will be calculated
• Shift By- Number of bars by which data has to be shifted
